The Growth Retreat is fully included in your Cabal membership and is a required part of the experience - it's a cornerstone for deepening connections within your peer group and gaining a richer understanding of each other’s businesses.
Don't expect ayahuasca, gongs baths or shamanic rituals - but you can expect a powerful and lasting experience.

What to expect..?
The agenda is quite stacked over the two days and the format of each retreat is somewhat varied. A staple however is to present your business growth plan (we provide a template) including full financials, growth pillars and key risks. Your cabal buddies will then have time to give feedback, ask probing questions and challenge your assumptions. Generally conversations in cabal lead with 'experience sharing' as opposed to giving direct viewpoints, but at Retreat we encourage more direct conversation.
On a personal level, we take the time to sit around the fire (literally) and take turns sharing defining life moments to develop connection and understanding. It's rare to reflect in such an environment and the playbook we follow can have some profound results.
The Cabal chef accompanies us at Retreat and you're guaranteed the most delicious, nutritious food and snacks.
Special experiences
Alongside the business and personal development programming, it's important that the Retreat also delivers a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience. This year, we spent time with the great masters of perception and strength: horses. After some meditative grooming, we were challenged with leadership exercises designed to tap into their innate response to strong, clear direction.
Incredible animals and so many parallels we can learn from them in leadership.
Three things we learnt..?
🔍👀 Lead with energy, not just action: Horses respond to your presence before your command. Our teams do the same - they feel our clarity or chaos before we've said a word.
🏇🎯 Power without direction is just noise: Horses thrive under strong, steady leadership. When leadership is clear and focused, horses (as well as our teams) can align and perform powerfully. With too much distraction or inconsistency, horses just burn energy in circles - scattered and unproductive.
⏳💆♂️ Endurance requires rest: Horses have extraordinary stamina within them, but they need rest and recovery to maintain peak performance. It's the same for us. High performance requires recovery - not as a luxury, but as a discipline.
