PEER GROUPS
Upon joining CABAL you will be carefully placed in a peer group of up to 8 founders, hand picked just for you, and chaired by an experienced facilitator.
Over time, the relationships you'll form with your Cabal buddies will become some of the most trusted and valued relationships you have.
Cabals are generally aligned to a specific industry, so that members have enough 'connective tissue' to make experience shares relevant.
We currently have peer-groups of founders connected to Professional Services, Food & Beverage and Tech, with new groups launching each month.
MEMBERSHIP INCLUSIONS
There are three pillars to your Cabal membership benefits, all of which are fully included in your annual membership.
01 MONTHLY MEETINGS
Your monthly meeting with your Cabal is the cornerstone of membership. Monthly meetings are mandatory, 2.5 hours long and there are 8-9 per year.
Meetings are chaired by an experienced facilitator, and our playbook ensures members speedily get to a place of considered, authentic discussion.
02 ANNUAL RETREAT
Each year you'll escape to a Saltburn-esque country house for 2 days and one night.
This is your opportunity to present your plan for the year, priorities and key challenges. Your Cabal buddies will ask probing questions.
03 COMMUNITY
Interact with the broader Cabal membership community on our digital platform.
The last Friday of each month is 'Market Day' where you can promote your business and ask favours of the community.
Our community management team will also make bespoke introductions between members as appropriate.
KEY PRINCIPLES
Cabals can craft many of the Ground Rules that govern their peer group. In addition there are three Key Principles that apply to all members Cabal-wide.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Conversations that happen within your Cabal are not to be shared with anyone outside your Cabal. Strict observance of confidentiality is essential to ensure your Cabals is a safe space to share authentically.
NON-SOLICITATION
Cabal is not the place for self-promotion or business lead generation. In fact we insist that members don't actively try to sell to other members.
SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
Nobody knows your business better that you do, so our members focus on sharing direct, lived experiences rather than telling each other what to do.
BACKED BY RESEARCH
Evidence is clear that there are significant benefits for founders by being part of a well run peer-group.

In particular, a recent HBR article states that peer support groups can foster growth by providing founders with a space to share their challenges confidentially. The groups help leaders learn from each other's experiences, reducing isolation, and improving self-awareness. The study emphasizes that well-structured peer groups can help individuals become more resilient, gain actionable insights, and support business success through shared accountability.
